Blending an eco home with its environment

    Type: Eco Garden Design
    Area: The Cotswolds
    The garden:
This unusual ecohouse and its surrounding garden had the potential to be delightfully unique yet the two didn’t quite sit comfortably together. The lawn felt sterile and didn’t suit the rest of the property.

Organic architecture in harmony with nature

    The brief:
The challenge was to help this beguiling house blend with, and work in harmony with its surroundings.

We wanted to give the house the entrance it deserved. Finding a way to install a large driveway without it taking away from the look of the house was key.

God Almighty first planted a garden. And indeed, it is the purest of human pleasures. – Francis Bacon

    The design:
The water feature was clean and minimal featuring a striking, contemporary sculpture. Enlivened by surrounding tropical planting, the feature gave a uniquely beautiful entrance to a distinctive home.
